The new owners wanted an open plan for their kitchen, dining, and living space. So we demo'd the existing walls that enclosed the kitchen.
We rerouted plumbing and electrical wiring. We installed new posts and beams to replace the missing support wall. We installed new laminate flooring and LED lighting. We also installed a 32 square foot eat-at cooktop counter with an overhead exhaust. We were able to salvage the existing cabinetry with a new coat of lacquer.
“We highly recommend Arthur at Pretty Kitchens. From the initial consult, he was enthusiastic and helped brainstorm ideas with us. He is also extremely punctual. It is clear he treats his business and his clients with the utmost courtesy, respect and professionalism. I joked with him that every time I called, he would answer the phone. I kept calling him to see if I'd ever get his voicemail. Our house turned out beautifully. We did a pretty thorough renovation and the finished product turned out better than we had anticipated. We triple bid the job and Arthur was by far the most reasonable and also easiest to get in touch with and communicate with. It's like the difference between a mom and pop store and a huge anonymous chain. With Arthur you get the gold treatment because it is just him and his team. And he puts all of his focus on the job he's doing. He actually turned business away during our job because he didn't want to spread himself too thin. What a refreshing change of pace in this town. 5 stars!”
